The in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot allows you to connect up to five (5) compatible mobile devices such as tablets, gaming devices, and mobile phones to Wi-Fi at the same time for use in your vehicle. You can browse the internet, stream music and movies, play games – just like you do at home.
When you purchase a Toyota Entune 3.0 vehicle equipped with Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities you’ll have an opportunity to enroll in a complimentary Wi-Fi trial for 2GB data usage or 6 months, whichever comes first.
You must register through the Verizon Wi-Fi Sign-up page in order to activate the Entune Wi-Fi Connect trial. You can access this page in a variety of ways, including: connecting your device to your vehicle's Wi-Fi network, connecting your device to your vehicle's head unit via Bluetooth and using the Wi-Fi Sign-up app, or by clicking the Wi-Fi link on My Toyota Entune or in certain Toyota marketing emails you receive.
The Wi-Fi Sign-up app helps you sign up for your vehicle’s Wi-Fi hotspot. You can click the web option to go to the Verizon Wi-Fi Sign-up page, or select the phone number to reach an operator who can walk you through the sign-up process. You can also find the unique vehicle identifier (IMEI) that you will need to activate service.
Your unique vehicle identifier (IMEI) is needed to sign up for the Wi-Fi trial. Depending on how you reached the sign-up page, the IMEI may already be filled in. If it is not automatically filled in, you can find this number in the bottom left-hand corner of the Wi-Fi Sign-up app, or a Toyota Response Center agent can help you find it. You will also need to provide your email address, name, phone number, and address.
